Deanne & Dave Bertram<\/strong>, Blue Wind Farm \u2013 who baby-sat when she was little & cute, then when she was an older red-haired spitfire.<\/p>\n

Wanda Dodd<\/strong>, Windara Farms<\/a> \u2013 a place to hang out and friends to play with during weaning\u2026 and soooo much more. \u00a0Including introducing us to many people who would become pivotal in our lives.<\/p>\n

Ray Hunt<\/a><\/strong> & Buck Brannaman<\/a><\/strong> \u2013 for helping me to begin to see how much I didn\u2019t know that I didn\u2019t know.<\/p>\n

Poor Uncle Frank<\/strong> \u2013 for patiently enduring the steepest part of\u00a0 my learning curve.<\/p>\n

Dr. Steve Adams<\/strong>, Purdue University Veterinary Teaching Hospital <\/a>\u2013 for his skillfull surgery, generous advice and genuine concern.<\/p>\n

Mom<\/strong> \u2013 for saying, \u201cWell, that\u2019s the first time I ever prayed for a horse.\u201d (During surgery).<\/p>\n

Katherine Rosback<\/strong>, Bearded Dog Farms<\/a> \u2013 for welcoming us and providing \u201cEmma\u2019s Condo\u201d for her extensive lay-up.<\/p>\n

Lana Mayer, <\/strong>St. George Farm\u00a0\u2013 for all the physical rehab & kicking my ass whenever I waver.<\/p>\n

David Thompson<\/strong> \u2013 for welcoming all of my 4-legged friends to our family & our new home at Idylwilde.<\/p>\n

Dad<\/strong> \u2013 for concrete block and rubber mats and tractor intimidation and\u2026 well \u2013 Everything.<\/p>\n

Dr. Scott Thompson<\/strong>, Janssen Veterinary Clinic<\/a> \u2013 for seeing more in me than my ill-behaved horse running loose in the parking lot\u2026 and offering me a job after we caught her.<\/p>\n

Dr. Justin Janssen<\/strong> \u2013 for allowing me a year in the truck beside him before \u201cretiring\u201d to run cattle in Kansas.<\/p>\n

Jim Keith, Rusty Derrer & Mike Breen<\/strong>, Indiana Farrier\u2019s Association<\/a> \u2013 for being stand-up guys: listening, advising, and helping me out whenever I got in a jam.<\/p>\n

Brian Neubert<\/a><\/strong> \u2013 for giving us our first ride.<\/p>\n

Ed Rothkranz,\u00a0Rhineland Stud Farm<\/a><\/strong> \u2013 for showing me how to hit the target without aiming at it.<\/p>\n
