But given the inequity in her shoulders, I&#8217;m switching to the dressage saddle (older Kieffer Rhein AT) because where it sits on her back is\u00a0actually\u00a0pretty even. \u00a0Unfortunately, the Kieffer could use a little work &#8211; it&#8217;s past due for a reflock and the billet leathers are worn. \u00a0So &#8211; safety first. \u00a0Of course, the repair estimate is literally more than I paid for the saddle. \u00a0And it&#8217;s a 3 week turnaround time. \u00a0I&#8217;m thinking about using a local saddle fitter instead of shipping it off, one of the benefits being that she could fit it better with Emma right there. \u00a0The downside is, I&#8217;m afraid I might get talked into another saddle.
